Is lugging very dangerous for engine If you are going in high gear while your speed is very slow or with low load then your engine is lugging which is very dangerous for both engine and vehicle. This can cause problems for the rider, disturb the fuel economy and eventually destroy the vehicle and the engine, which can be very bad news for the owner. An experienced driver will not allow a vehicle to lug.

Both are beneficial but you should use clutch less tyre brakes should be used for braking and control
